Some performance related tips

1. Disable System Restore (if you are confident that you will not need this service).
2. Reload the registry without rebooting, by using Task Manager and "end process" for Explorer, then select "new task" and run "explorer" to restart it and reload the registry.
3. BIOS: update to the latest BIOS from the motherboard manufacturer, disable ports and features that you don't use;
